A little about me..

“I will not rescue you,

For you are not powerless.

I will not fix you,

For you are not broken.

I will not heal you,

For I see you, in your wholeness.

I will walk with you through the darkness,

As you remember your light”- A Medicine Woman’s Prayer

Hi, I’m Savannah Carmassi.
I am a Certified Integrative Trauma and Somatic Coach, honored to serve our community here on the Central Coast—and beyond.

My mission is to help others reconnect with their most authentic selves—free from the limiting narratives, painful dynamics, and behaviors that trauma can leave in its wake. I offer a safe, supportive space to explore the intricacies of our human experience.

My own mental wellness journey began when I was sixteen. After a brief-soap opera-esque romance, I discovered I was pregnant. Unsurprisingly, the father of my child was not emotionally ready to support a family and I chose to step into parenthood largely on my own. In the years that followed, I searched for love and safety in relationships that too often involved mental and physical abuse. I saw many CBT practitioners, and while talking about my experiences helped in some ways, I grew weary of the patterns I found myself repeating.

In 2016, I discovered EMDR and Somatic Therapy. It was then that I began working with the therapist I now consider both my greatest mentor and the person who sparked my passion for this work. Through Somatic Experiencing and EMDR, I was able to uncover unconscious patterns rooted in early childhood, regulate my nervous system, and live with a greater sense of empowerment, alignment, and joy. For this, I will always be deeply grateful.

Becoming a mother so young came with its challenges, as you can imagine. But it also ignited in me resilience, resourcefulness, and a deep well of compassion. Today, I see in others the same ability to alchemize life’s unexpected challenges into wisdom, empathy, and creativity.

I look forward to meeting you.
